& Juliet

Bridgehampton students enjoyed a festive and memorable field trip to New York City on Dec. 2, where they attended the Broadway musical “& Juliet,” a pop-music retelling of Romeo & Juliet that had students laughing, singing along and connecting with Shakespeare in a fresh, modern way.
The students also visited the Bryant Park Christmas Village, taking in the sparkling lights, holiday displays and seasonal excitement that make New York City magical this time of year. The experience offered many students their first glimpse of the city during the holidays, creating lasting memories.
This trip served as a reward for the students who volunteered their time and talents to help run the Halloween Carnival at the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum on Oct. 26. Their service was invaluable — the event simply could not have succeeded without them. Proceeds from the carnival benefited the Bridgehampton Drama Club.
A folder of photos from the trip has been shared by Francesca, capturing the joy, teamwork and holiday spirit of a truly special day. Congratulations to our students for their hard work, dedication and well-earned celebration of the arts.
