Mr. Mike Sherman and the Bridgehampton chemistry students spent time in the lab finding the percentage of water by mass in a crystal hydrate. Most 10th and 11th grade students are eligible to take chemistry and are especially encouraged to enroll if in their future career aspire to study nursing, pharmacology or medicine. Because of the small class sizes at Bridgehampton, students have an enhanced participation rate during experiments such as this one that 10th graders Jai Feaster and Mattias Linnman are working on.
